The Luthier's Livelihood
While studying abroad in Barcelona, me and three others interviewed local guitar makers (called luthiers) to create an 18-page magazine that taught people about the art of guitar making. I did all the design and layout for the piece on InDesign using photos we had taken during our time in Barcelona.
Carolina Crosstalk
Carolina Crosstalk is a student-run research magazine at the University of South Carolina. I worked with another student designer on the spring and fall 2023 issues. The fall 2023 issue’s theme was “Researchers are Heroes,” and the design choices were inspired by comic books and pop art styles. We agreed on a limited color palette and guidelines for the issue for cohesion. These were published online on Crosstalk’s section of USC’s website.
